Strike FC Soccer Club Joins the SC Wave Family

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - ROC Ventures and the SC Wave organization welcomes Strike FC as our newest satellite location. Strike FC is joining the SC Wave family effective starting for the 2023-2024 soccer year. A non-profit advocating soccer since 1981 in and around Lake Country, Strike FC will play as SC Wave Strike. SC Wave has programs in Waukesha, New Berlin, Greendale, Madison, Walworth, Green Bay, Germantown and Washington County. All of the youth programs are in the same family as the 7-time indoor professional soccer champions the Milwaukee Wave.

SC Wave provides access to new playing opportunities for Strike Players members at the local, regional and national levels. Teams at SC Wave currently participate in Wisconsin Youth Soccer Southeast Classic League, Youth Academy, and State League. SC Wave also participates in the Midwest Conference of National League, National League Pro, and Elite 64. SC Wave is the only club in Wisconsin that has earned participation in The Girls Academy and one of 2 clubs in MLS Next.

Strike FC is and will continue to be a community focused club. Expanding its ability to allow players more opportunities and programming through SC Wave.


SC Wave offers four primary programs:

- The Milwaukee Wave: The professional indoor soccer team founded in 1984. They are the oldest continuously operating professional soccer team in the United States, currently playing in the Major Arena Soccer League, and are 7-time Indoor Soccer World Champions with their most recent championship in 2019.

- SC Wave Select: Provides an opportunity for a higher level of competition and training for more serious players who have demonstrated superior ability, skill development, and commitment. The Select program is for players U11-U19 who are offered positions on a team after participating in tryouts.

- The SC Wave Academy: Provides an opportunity for a higher level of competition at ages U7- U10. SC Wave Academy's training is for more serious players who have demonstrated superior ability, skill development, and commitment.

- SC Wave Recreational: Offers youth the opportunity to play soccer at many different age groups in their local communities. SC Wave Recreational begins at the U-4 level and teaches the fundamentals of soccer while placing an emphasis on having fun and enjoying the game.
