SC WAVE STRIKE
SC Wave Strike has offered families throughout southeast Wisconsin the opportunity to play soccer since 1981.
We have operated under a number of club names and came together as SFC Wisconsin in 2012. Today, we are known as SC Wave Strike.
The majority of our training and game facilities are located in an area known as Lake Country, WI (Arrowhead, Kettle Moraine, and Oconomowoc areas). And, our program reaches far beyond our facilities.
SC Wave Strike exists for the kids. We develop our players to be the best they can and want to be, from three years of age through high school, in a fun and challenging training environment. We continuously look for the best coaches and we work to improve our programs year after year.
What makes us unique is that we offer an unmatched range of programs to suit all player levels, desires, and age groups, from a toddler’s introduction to soccer through the most elite soccer leagues in the Midwest. We have a program for your player, which will match his or her intensity, desires, and skills. Whether they are looking for an opportunity to play relaxed recreational soccer games on the weekend or intend on playing Division I college soccer, these opportunities and more exist at SC Wave Strike.
SC WAVE STRIKE RECREATIONAL LEVEL
Developing youth players using time tested and proven session plans developed by an experienced staff with over 3 decades of coaching expertise.
Our recreational soccer program is the foundation of SC Wave Strike. Each year over 1,000 players register throughout all of our regions (Waukesha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington, Jefferson counties and beyond). Our focus is to provide a safe and fun environment for all players to develop physically, emotionally and mentally through the world’s game, soccer. Ours recreational program typically consists of 1 weeknight practice (Tues, Weds or Thurs) with a volunteer coach and games on Saturdays.
Our volunteer coaches are provided with equipment, training and lesson plans, as well as assistance from professional staff. We are able to offer numerous teams at each location, age group, gender, and playing ability to ensure everyone finds success.
Families choose recreational soccer for many reasons. Soccer provides a great avenue for players to learn about fitness and nutrition, develop strength, speed and coordination, acquire leadership and socialization skills, make new friends and hang-out with old friends. All while having fun playing a universal sport.
At all ages and levels of recreational soccer parents play a major role in the enjoyment that their child gets out of playing soccer and the success of the overall soccer program. The effort and time that a parent or guardian puts into a child’s soccer team has a substantial impact on the enjoyment the whole family gets out of their association with SC Wave.
