The Titletown U12/U13/U14/U15 Midwest Conference teams are for players who are serious about their development and aspire to play soccer collegiately and beyond. Working with SC Wave and their technical staff to implement continuity with curriculum and style of play this team will be based in the Green Bay area where they will train. This unique opportunity allows for players to have all that SC Wave has to offer from facilities, programs, coaching and level of play opportunities. The MLS Next league is the highest level league for boys youth soccer in America playing and competing against MLS Next youth academies and teams across the United States.
The Purdy Elite Approach
Purdy Elite teams will focus on player development via a rigorous periodized technical and tactical curriculum designed for each developmental phase. This will include 2-3 trainings per week for 40 weeks out of the year. The main goal is for each player to receive intensive and extensive technical instruction and implementation while gaining a high level of soccer IQ and tactical awareness to prepare them to play at higher levels of soccer like MLS Next, Division 1 collegiate and professional soccer.

COACHING
All players participating in the SC Wave Titletown Purdy Elite U12, U13, U14 and U15 programs will be trained by former professional soccer player Steve Purdy and coached by Drew Morrissey.
SC Wave and Purdy Performance will work closely together, to ensure all MLS Next, MRL and YNL players will receive a consistent curriculum. With a player first development philosophy in place, where coaches will collaborate to ensure that the best interest of each player comes first.
TEAMS
All attempts will be made to form teams made up of players equal in ability and skill level therefore may be realigned at the end of each season to keep players equal in ability and skill development together.
Players may play-up an age level in order to find the appropriate level of competition to encourage player and team development. In these cases the teams would be rostered to the age appropriate level.
TRYOUTS
Midwest Conference U13/U14/U15 Titletown and U12 Qualifier
Tryouts are held to choose each team at the MWC Level. These tryouts for these select teams are held annually, generally in June and will be led by Steve Purdy. Exact dates will be determined and published on the website, local newspapers and social media platforms.
Additional experienced coaching staff may be in attendance and observe these tryouts. Steve Purdy, along with assigned evaluators, will assume responsibility for selecting players to teams. All efforts will be made to ensure that these evaluators will be experienced soccer personnel who are generally not personally acquainted with the players trying out for the team. Players are not guaranteed a position on any team simply because they played on that team last year.
Parents are advised to leave the field on which the tryouts are taking place. Players will participate in an organized session of technical drills, tactical exercises, small-sided and large-sided games. These sessions are designed to test each player's technical abilities and skill and will serve to help them distinguish themselves from all the other players. SC Wave Titletown will notify all players trying out of their selection status at the deadline set by WYSA.
