SC Wave Strike has offered families throughout southeast Wisconsin the opportunity to play soccer since 1981.
We have operated under a number of club names and came together as SFC Wisconsin in 2012. Today, we are known as SC Wave Strike.
The majority of our training and game facilities are located in an area known as Lake Country, WI (Arrowhead, Kettle Moraine, and Oconomowoc areas). And, our program reaches far beyond our facilities.
SC Wave Strike exists for the kids. We develop our players to be the best they can and want to be, from three years of age through high school, in a fun and challenging training environment. We continuously look for the best coaches and we work to improve our programs year after year.
What makes us unique is that we offer an unmatched range of programs to suit all player levels, desires, and age groups, from a toddler’s introduction to soccer through the most elite soccer leagues in the Midwest. We have a program for your player, which will match his or her intensity, desires, and skills. Whether they are looking for an opportunity to play relaxed recreational soccer games on the weekend or intend on playing Division I college soccer, these opportunities and more exist at SC Wave Strike.
SC WAVE STRIKE ACADEMY LEVEL
Following a proven high level curriculum delivered by licensed coaches built to prepare youth players for the next level, our Academy players experience elite soccer at a young age.
Includes 2x Weekly Training Led by Licensed Staff, Full Puma Kit, Fall (Aug-Nov), Winter (Nov-Mar) and Spring (April-June) Soccer Seasons, Plus 3 Tournaments
The SC Wave Strike Academy Program focuses on developing the soccer skills of U7-U10 players who have demonstrated a strong interest and enjoyment of soccer. Many recreational players switch to Academy because they are looking for a more challenging soccer environment. For others, the pure joy of the game is what brings them to the program. The purpose of the Academy Program is to prepare players to be successful select soccer players and individuals. We do this through a focus on fundamental technical soccer skills and character education (sportsmanship, team building, positive social interaction).
Academy teams operate at a higher level of competition and with a higher level of training activity, which requires a higher commitment. Training focuses almost solely on individual player skills. Tactics for game play are not emphasized, and are not taught until the proper techniques and skills are in place to execute them. Training sessions are typically 2 weeknights (M&W or T&Th) with games played in the WYSA Club v Club Academy League on weekends in Waukesha County and Greater Milwaukee.
We expect our "graduating" academy players to successfully pass select tryouts and be offered a position on a U11 Select team if they wish to enter the select program.
